Patrick Nyarumbu MBE

Patrick is currently the Executive Director of Strategy, People and Partnerships & Deputy CEO at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS FT. He was previously Director of Nursing, Leadership and Quality for NHS England and NHS Improvement (East of England) and Deputy Regional Chief Nurse for the Midlands and East of England.                  

Patrick is a mental health nurse by background and has worked in a wide range of NHS organisations covering mental health, acute and specialist services as well as in Primary Care and Clinical Commissioning Groups. Patrick is passionate about leadership development, talent management and championing diversity.  Patrick led the founding of the Jabali Men’s Network and is the current chair of the network. He was awarded an MBE in 2022 as part of the Queen’s New Year Honours.
